All,

I got some syncro's from the following aircraft that I'm having trouble cal'ing:
F-22, F-35 and F-16. How and what method do yall use to calibrate them. These are off the aircraft (not at liberty to say where), but yall get tha drift. Right now, we're using the AG Davis Rotary Axis System.

Oh the almighty synchro...

I currently work for a company who supplies parts for the F-35, F-22 and F-18.  It could be one of our parts.....anyway.

I have 2 different ways of measureing them.  I have made special fixturing to mount Synchros/RVDTs and using a Sine Bar/Gage Blocks I measure angle using that (Can be a pain to align).  I also have calibrated them using the information from the Mfg to calculate the angle using a formula (Provided by the Mfg) for Voltage In/Voltage out (Measured W/DMM) with the answer correlating to a particular angle.
