Calibration Lead Technician needed in San Diego

Advanced Test Equipment Corp.  is a growing nationwide test & measurement equipment rental company located in the Sorrento Valley area of San Diego, California.

We are currently looking for a
ELECTRONIC CALIBRATION LEAD TECHNICIAN
The successful candidate will be able to perform a wide variety of complex technical functions and repairs on advanced electronics equipment for a, fast-paced environment.   

Responsibilities:

•   Troubleshoot, repair & Calibrate a wide variety of equipment
•   Compute and understand basic dB, dBm, and mW
•   Perform return loss and basic network analysis
•   Do technical support/Customer Service
•   Maintain accurate documentation
•   And other misc duties


Qualifications:

•   Military electronics background (preferred, but not required)
•   PMEL
•   Calibration 17025 knowledge
•   Computer literacy
•   Knowledge of ISO 9000
•   RF Skills a plus
•   Knowledge of Ohms law
•   Knowledge of ESD handling precautions
•   Managerial experience
•   Ability to read schematics and diagrams
•   Ability to read and understand specifications and compute accuracy
•   Must pass drug screening test
•   Must pass background check
