RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical - Performs preventative/corrective maintenance and calibration in one or more of the following skill areas, as applicable:
•   bio-med instrumentation
•   dimensional/pressure/torque/temperature/physical measurement
•   Electrical/power/ digital measuring instrumentation.
•   Industrial microscopes (all kinds)
•   Specialized tooling and plant equipment including but limited to; lathes, welders, dispensers, milling machines, grinders and soldering stations.

We currently have an immediate opportunity for a Life Science Field Service Technician at our facility in Sunnyvale, California.


DESIRED EXPERIENCE

•   General Education and Training - A.A., formal PMEL or equivalent.  Five years of appropriate experience in Life Science/Medical Products maintenance and general calibration may be substituted for educational experience.
•   Skills – Must be a skilled technician able to maintain, repair and calibrate a wide variety of life science and medical product equipment.
•         Field Service – must be able to perform calibrations in the field.
•   Must be able to read circuit schematics and identify components within those schematics
•   Must be able to life up to 65 pounds without assistance; occasional standing and bending required.
•   Must have a clean driving record
