Currently unemployed, but for 19 years worked for a defense contractor, then before I moved out of Florida I was working for a small lab for the past three years going to on-site cals all over the state.

Fortunately I have a job interview next week with a contractor that does support for an Air Force base.

Company in Orlando that contracts with FAA and National Weather Service.  Plus a couple of other companies.  I work 100% on the road.
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN:

A veteran - whether on active duty, honorably discharged, retired, national guard, or reserve - is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to The 'United States of America', for an amount of 'up to and including my life.'

That is Honor, and there are way too many people in

Just an update.

Did well on the interview, got hired back on the 5th of February.  Just completed my probationary period and passed that with flying colors.

I was hired to the PMEL on Arnold AFB.  Best lab I've ever worked for so far.  I used to think the lab at Raytheon in Largo, FL was high tech; this place makes them look rather rinky-dink.  This place I work at is really great and so far have a lot of great people to work with and for.  Hopefully I'll be able to work here until I retire in about 8-10 years.
