Got this a while back from the same person that sent me the Lowry class picture.  It is from the Cam Rahn Bay PMEL, Vietnam circa 1969.  They are showing off the "banana bush" that they had just planted as part of the "base beautification project"

Love the banana tree picture, been there, done that.  I was part of the "harvest" team to dig up a bunch and plant them around PMEL and the Orderly Room.  in 1969.  I was there May 69 to May 70.
