American Technical Services, Inc.(ATS), is a professional technical services firm providing government and industrial clients comprehensive engineering, metrology and IT support services. We are currently seeking a Senior Metrologist or Metrology Engineer for our location in Thousand Oaks, CA.
The successful candidate will be working with an outstanding team in a dynamic work environment, supporting cutting edge measurements and calibration operations.  ATS offers competitive salary and generous benefits.
Position Requirements
•   10+ Years Experience as a Senior Metrologist  or Metrology Engineer.
•   Experience in Support of a Major Commercial/Corporate/Military Metrology Operation.
•   Experience in multiple measurement disciplines, developing calibration procedures
•   Experience Automating Calibrations (Preferably Scripting with MudCats) 

Demonstrated ability to:
o Develop and Maintain Calibration Management System.
o Perform Technical Requirements Analysis for Calibrated Equipment.
o Select Appropriate Calibration Measurement/Test Methods.
o Develop Complex Calibration Procedures.
o Anticipate, Mitigate, and Resolve Technical Calibration Issues, acting as Technical Authority in a Cross-Functional Environment.
o Develop/Maintain Measurement Assurance Policy, Objectives, Strategies, Metrics, within all  Applicable Governmental and Regulatory Requirements.
o Take Initiative and Overcome Obstacles to Achieve Results.

Educational/Experience Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Training and Experience.
10+ Years Experience as a Senior Metrologist/Metrology Engineer with Aptitude in Multiple Measurement Disciplines.
