Hi all,

I'm looking for a good calibration lab near California that can calibrate my HP\Agilent\Keysight coaxial power sensors up to 50GHz. An alternative to Keysight. I humbly request suggestions from the mighty users of the PMEL forum. I find that many labs like to cut corners, so I can't just go anywhere. By cutting corners I mean:
1. There is no network analyzer or reflectometer listed in the standards, so i know return loss was not tested and mismatch correction was not performed.
2. The cal factors sticker has not been updated, allegedly because the calibration results yielded cal factors that were "close enough" to the previous cal factors.
3. No cal factors are reported since data was not requested. I propose that cal factors must be reported regardless of the chosen tier of calibration. Otherwise, what's the point?

Well If you want 100% confidence in your Keysight Power Sensors calibration make sure the labs is either running Keysight's N7800 (TME) software or PS-CAL.  There is way more to calibrating today's power sensor than just cal factors.

In California there are a lot of companies running PS-CAL but only one third party calibration lab called Tech Master.
