I am trying to run down my old 401K. I lost my favorites on my computer and forget the website.

I yanked my money out when I left, not sure if Tektronix took over the whole thing including 401K, but you can always roam around sypris.com to see if there's anything there still.

Just rolled mine over. You can go to Sypris Solutions and get more info (they control all 401k's) The management company for the fund used to be JP Morgan, but since transferred to "Empower retirement" they can help you.

Ok. I think I want to leave it there for the diversification of different funds. I just want to know where it is. I had this happen with an IRA too were they sold the company twice and I could not figure out who had my money.

TAW

As stated the fund manager is "Empower Retirement" Sypris Solutions took responsibility for the 401 after Sypris T&M was sold. Goggle "Empower Retirement" for more info.

It blows my mind that these companies "sell and merge" and never let the fund holders know. I have had this happen to me in the past with an IRA. I contacted the new company and they said you don't have an account. Then oh here it is it is in orphaned accounts since it has been inactive for so long. I was like really? It is a retirement account you are not supposed to fool around with them all the time set it and forget it. Stupid just trying to take your money from you as far as I am concerned.

That's why I made a habit of rolling over my 401 whenever a switched companies.
I figured my retirement was probably safer closer to home than being "accidentally" merged into oblivion
