As an Associate Manager/Manager, Test Services, you will manage a team that develops custom capital equipment that is used in verification testing of medical products which directly impact the ability to put products to market. Manages and controls programs, equipment, and personnel involved in developing maintenance methods and procedures in support of Test Lab operations. Coordinates and prioritizes fixture repair list. Maintains and keeps up-to-date scheduled, unscheduled, high priority tasks and reports.

Position requirements:
• Develops and coordinates inspection and testing procedures for prototypes, components and products.
• Ensures selection of testing equipment and writes software for testing and test operating systems.
• Assists in designing and installing sampling systems, procedures, statistical techniques, testing mechanisms and equipment.
• Formulates test guidelines and procedures and may recommend revisions of specifications where necessary.
• Reviews technical reports for accuracy and adequacy.
• Investigates new technology opportunities for improving the efficiency and quality of new product development testing and coordinates implementation as appropriate.
• Coordinates a team of technicians and engineers in designing, supporting, and/or maintaining a wide range of product testing systems.
• Will monitor and control progress of projects to ensure sound application of engineering principles are used and design intent is being followed/achieved.
• Coordinates with other units, vendors and managers as needed to ensure specific cost, time and/or regulatory standards are met.
• Will lead and support preventative maintenance planning and proactive maintenance for calibration, system repairs, and system improvements.
• Has administrative authority for engineering drawings, BOM and engineering change orders.
• Will evaluate the results of projects and provide manufacturing guidance/assistance as needed.
• Will review technical reports for accuracy and adequacy.
• Will investigate new technology opportunities for improving the efficiency and quality of product development testing and coordinates implementation as appropriate.
• Will coordinate the activities of 4 or more exempt and/or non-exempt employees.
• Will evaluate the performance and development of 4 or more employees based on pre-established performance parameters.
• Responsible for assigned subordinate's compliance with company policies and corrective actions.

Education and Experience Requirements:
• Must be able to resolve complex testing and/or equipment issues using independent judgment.
• Must be able to generate, follow and explain detailed instruction and inspection procedures.
• 5 years related supervisory experience
• Electronic/mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience to lead a team of engineering personnel towards timely resolution, repair, maintenance, and validation of deployed test systems.
• Experience and knowledge with the validation process.
• Bachelors degree.
Percent Travel Required 5%
