Title: Calibration Technician
Reports to: Quality Director
Department: Operations
Location:  Tulsa, OK
Position Directly Supervises:  None

Job Purpose:
To maintain, test and repair a variety of instrumentation and equipment to make sure that instruments, gauges and testing devices are calibrated correctly and give accurate readings to assure compliance with the company's quality standards as well as provide timely and exceptional service to customers.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
   Calibrates instruments to meet established conformance standards.
   Reports all nonconformance issues directly to the Quality Director and/or President.
   Maintains an adequate turnaround time on all customer equipment.
   Provides technical support to all company employees and customers.
   Assembles, debugs and test fixtures, tools and equipment; makes adjustments as necessary.
   Ensures new equipment has approved calibration and maintenance specification.
   Creates work orders for defective equipment and repair.
   Works closely with electrical apparatuses and should also have knowledge of electricity and circuitry.
   Sets up laboratory and testing equipment as necessary.  (Maintaining cleaning, etc of lab or equipment)
   Maintains technical knowledge by participating in all calibration training and 17025 training.
   Contributes to team effort by accomplishing other related results as needed.

Skills and Qualifications:
   Experience with calibration and/or metrology equipment
   Previous experience working under ISO 9000 and/or ISO 17025 quality assurance program
   Working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, Outlook and willingness to learn new programs as required
   Good vision, math skills and sharp eye-hand coordination
   Ability to analyze and interpret data and other information in order to complete calibration procedures
   Must have excellent customer service skills
   Good written and verbal communication skills
   Must be able to show a track record of excellent attention to detail
   Must be able to maintain a clean and clutter-free work area for the safety of all employees
   Able to periodically lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
   A clean driving record and a valid driver's license is required
