Central Georgia Technical College has a complete Metrology Degree/Diploma Program  that can be taken via the internet.  They also have certificates for ISO 9000, Physcial/Dim. Metrology, and Certified Technican.   You can view their programs at http://www.cgtcollege.org/.
There is also a course descriptions in their on line catalog.  Contact me Randall Francis (rkfrancis1086 at cox.net) for more information about the program.   The on line classes are taught through the  CGTC BlackBoard System.   We have several graduates from the program that are working in Air Force, State,  and civilian calibration labs.

You should take  English first.  Then maybe math next.  Then work on a GED.  When thats finished retire, and become a pig farmer.
I hope your joking.

On to the Metrology Degree Program.
It looks to be a pretty basic program.
We're talking an AS, but not a BS level program?

It's okay to be ignorant, as you can always ask questions, but there is no cure for stupidity.

Does PMEL count for credit towards any of the courses?
Sarcasm - Just one more service I offer

I to would like to know if my Lowry Tech School would count towards a degree with your college?  Otherwise I feel like that would be a great big waste of my time!

JAEVANS

it should've counted towards a large chunk of a CCAF degree

well the pmel tech school counted for all but 6 or 7 classes all of but one or two could be CLEP'd if you were motivated enough.  I was until I got out of school and said hell with it.

As an old timer, going back to when they did not think ICs would last,  I am of the opinion that most college degree offers in our field are just a way to earn the colleges money and in no way provide a useful service.  I finally got my degree years ago, but it was a ast of time.
Course that  is just me, I personnally like the idea of retiring and taking over the pig farm.

I like pig farming too, but can't stand the smell.  The real retirement job is counting deer and birds in the forest service and getting paid to do it. sorry for the last post. Got locked out of my account and finally resolved the problem.
