Responsibilities:
•Create MET/CAL® (or other) procedures to support M&TE (measuring and test equipment) as directed for use internally or externally.   
•Design, develop and test state of the art, automated metrology solutions.   
•Conform with explicit procedure development guidelines and contribute in their ongoing refinement.   
•Consult with engineering, production, service, and customers concerning cost effective, metrologically sound methods of measurement and automation.   
•At the senior level, lead a team consisting of professional and other metrology and calibration personnel to develop a significant metrology automation solution.   
•Perform other related duties as assigned.  

Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or other related science preferred with a minimum of 4-6 years of technical experience in metrology, or equivalent in related education and experience.   
•In lieu of the above, military PMEL background with extensive (10-15 years) multi-discipline experience required
•Strong, varied knowledge of M&TE hardware and associated applications
•RF experience up to 26. 5 GHz strongly preferred, including direct experience with spectrum/network analyzers, power measurement, signal generators, etc.   
•Knowledge of relevant metrology practices, procedures and applicable technical and quality standards
•Previous MET/CAL experience highly desirable
•Experience with other metrology software such as SureCAL® or Agilent® Test Management Environment (TME) is a plus.   
•Applicable test engineering experience in the M&TE industry may be considered
