Let's all take a moment today to say a silent prayer for all this nations Veterans, both living and deceased. We are the ones that keep this country free through our sacrifices and dedication.

A good friend of mine called my office today and said "What are you doing for lunch?"  I told him I had no plans.  He said he was buying me lunch today- I just had to name the place and time.  When we met at the restaurant he walked up, smiled, and said "Happy Veterans' Day!"

Well!  I've been out of my blue suit for 20 years, but this guy wanted to thank me for my time in service.  So there are still a few civilians out there that appreciate a military career and the sacrifice that goes with it...

I still stay in touch with a lot of my old PMEL buddies, and applaud them, in or out of the service, for their time in the suit, their time on the bench, TDY, FASTCAL, and their time drinking a beer with me discussing the pros and cons of the Fluke 5100B Opt 03...
If it works, it's a Fluke.

It is too late this year but Golden Coral usually has a free meal for Veterans on Veterans day. Mark your calender for next year!! Thanks for your service and GOD BLESS each and everyone of you veterans out there.
