Tescom has an immediate opening for Calibration Technicians at our Cedar Park and San Antonio Texas calibration laboratory. We have been experiencing business growth, and have immediate need for a PMEL/TMDE/Calibration Technician

We are seeking an Electronic and Physical Dimensional calibration technician. Our well-equipped calibration lab covers many disciplines.

We service a wide variety of southern Texas customers across many industries, which requires a broad cross section of calibration skills. Position requires a combination of in lab work, minimal local travel to perform on-site calibrations customer locations.

Ideal candidate should have completed military calibration (PME/TMDE) training or equivalent. Experience in a quality focused commercial laboratory and customer on-site background are both a plus. Candidate should have experience processing calibration documentation, and using calibration automation software. Desirable added skills include working in ISO17025 Accredited lab and use of MS Excel/MS Word. Candidate should have good analytical skills, good understanding of electronic theory, and the ability perform basic calculations (such as Ohm's Law).

Pay is competitive based on level of experience and negotiable, with good benefits.

Our Cedar Park lab is 26 miles north of Austin and our San Antonio lab is next to the airport.

Wow it is beautiful down there!! Little bit of a commute for me though. I guess lots of places are having a hard time finding techs. Its a great time to be looking for a job but not a great time to be hiring.
