Forgive me if I don't have this posted in the right spot...This K1-K8 stuff is confusing...Anyway...

The Air Force T.O. has you cal'ing the DC current while the NAVAIR procedure has you to special cal it stating on the cal sticker,"DC current not cal'd" WTF? Is the DC current portion an important part of the procedure or what? How come the the NAVAIR doesn't cal the DC current? By the way, the NAVAIR procedure is a far simplier and easier cal procedure than the Air Force T.O. Any comments? THoughts? Holla back...

Why would you need the current cal'd when you use it for TC's?  I believe that's why the NAVAIR doesn't require the DC Current to be cal'd. I am not familiar with ( at least I don't remember ) that model. How ever if it is used for TC only then you just need to cal DC Volts/Millivolts. That's just my take, if anyone else knows this equipment please offer suggestions to Devil_Dog.

You are most welcomed my friend. Now quit your job and move to Florida. I need you. Please... I will make sure they will call you this time. I will push it through myself if I have to. So what do you say?

Coup, the Marine might be working out a deal to supplement his concubine.  When he realizes what his wife would do to him should that occur, he'll come to his senses and head for Florida.  Patience...

Your company doesn't have enough money to get me to leave sunny Cincinnati...

No for the next 48 weeks as I am locked into commitments now.

Coup is correct on the mA not being calibrated. The Chair/Air force/Farce does have it calibrated and I personally can say that I have used it for reading and sourcing DC current. It came in handy and wasn't that big of a deal to calibrate.

We have two of them, I have them both limited for current functions not calibrated.  I have not needed that in a few years anyway.
