DC/Low Frequency Technician III opportunity In Kuwait

•   Provides technical and procedural advice and guidance to KAF personnel and other GOK personnel concerning metrology related matters such as; the repair, calibration or modification of precision measurement equipment, the  conduct of laboratory operations and the resolution of customer measurement problems
•   Provides in-depth technical expertise and can provide OJT or formal classroom training as required
•   Performs precision measurements, calibrations, modifications, maintenance and repair actions within the guidelines of the Kuwait Air Force (KAF), utilizing approved Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Instrument
•   Calibration procedures, equipment manuals or approved scientific/ metrology processes
•   Reads blueprints, data, manuals, or other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustment methods, certification processes, formulas, or measuring instruments required
•   Assists in obtaining and maintaining laboratory Quality Assurance (QA) accreditation
•   Directs, conducts and evaluates the development of calibration procedures for assigned equipment

•   Associate degree in electronics technology from an accredited school or equivalent is required
•   Two (2) or more years' experience operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating electronic Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) such as analog and digital multi-meters, electronic counters, - function generators, signal generators, analog and digital tape recorders, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and calibration laboratory measurement standards, required
•   Experience in troubleshooting TMDE and measurement standards by making measurement with test equipment to identify problems to the component level preferred
•   Experience in basic electronic construction and repair skills including soldering and wiring – including the ability to perform these functions on delicate circuit cards preferred
