We still have a need.

SENIOR RF/ELECTRONIC CALIBRATION (PMEL/TMDE) TECHNICIAN - IMMEDIATE NEED AT TESCOM, Austin Texas.  Due to recent business growth, we need a good senior technician with broad RF/microwave/high end electronic calibration experience.  Significant amount of workload will be at customer sites (mostly local travel).  Very little overnight travel.  Competitive pay based on skill level (negotiable), and benefits package.

We are a growing, quality focused, ISO17025 Accredited calibration service provider.  We do not believe in pressuring technicians to production over quality.  A very broad range of capabilities in our lab, and our quality focus mean we are seeking the best people to make us the best commercial calibration service provider in central Texas.

Our electronic lab services everything from simple DMM's to HP 3458A's, from small TDS oscilloscopes to 20 GHz+ sampling systems.  RF signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, puise/function generators, telecomm test instruments, electrical power industry instruments, and many more.  We have a full Weinschel system for calibrating RF power sensors up to 26.5 GHz, and a primary electrical standards lab with capabilities for calibrating up to Fluke 8508A's and Fluke 5720A/5725A systems (standards lab not accredited yet).

An ideal candidate would have all of the above plus advance programming skills in MetCal (additional pay consideration for MetCal programming skills).

We also have a fully equipped physical/dimensional lab.  The ideal candidate would have not only extensive RF/electronic skills, but additional understanding of physical/dimensional calibrations.  Our Phys/D lab had multiple deadweight testers, torque system, all of the regular things (calibration of calipers, micrometers, dial/digital indicators, thread/plug gauges, etc.).

This is an immediate need.  For consideration, send your resume to [email protected] or message me for questions.
