Where to Get a UV Intensity Meter Calibrated

I have a couple of UV intensity meters, one from Suss Microtec, and the other from Ushio.  Anyone out there in PMEL land know of a good vendor who can calibrate these?

Contact Paul Reese at the Patrick AFB lab. They calibrate UV meters and they send some of them out. He'll be able to give you a good source.

I'll have to dig into the archives on this one.  The company I worked for at the time I posted the original message is no more.  I believe I found one of the uv meter calibration vendors who was willing to do those.  I don't even have access to that database any more.  Seems like I may have ended up sending them to Germany - not sure.

I had sent some uv meters to Germany I can recall now the company, I will search for the address on the internet if I find it I will let you know.

Why don't you try AFPSL the "Bionetics" is accredited for UV.

Be careful where you send UV meters.  We had a recent issue where a lab mis-calibrated the meter due to less than competent technicians, and had to re-send the meter out to the OEM.  I don't cal them myself, but the issue we had was that the correct UV standard (wavelength) for the particular meter was not used.
