General Qualifications:

1.   U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident Status required
2.   Experience Preferred: 5 years
3.   Education Preferred : High School Graduate with TMDE/PMEL/DOD certified or trained, or Associates degree in Electrical Technologies.
4.   Travel is mostly local and 75% of calibrations are carried out at customer's location. Overnight travel will be required 20-25%.
5.   Strong work ethic and proven ability to multi-task and handle priorities in a fast-paced environment
6.   Fast learner / ability to learn new skills
7.   Strong attention to detail
8.   Must have excellent reporting and analytical skills
9.   Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) Gauge insight experience a plus.
10.   Must be able to perform general math/algebra functions, & read, write, speak and understand fluent   English
11.   Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance
12.   Occasional standing and bending are required
13.   Work overtime as needed
14. Must be a U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents

Responsibilities and Duties:

1.   Ability to calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair precision equipment
2.   Interpret maintenance manuals, engineering sketches, and general calibration procedures
3.   Electrical, High Voltage, and Physical Dimensional experience preferred
4.   Collect, compile, measure, summarize, and record data gathered during calibration
5.   Identify M&TE out-of-tolerance conditions and perform corrective action via adjustments, component replacement, correction factors, etc
6.   Adapt existing calibration equipment, standards, and techniques to accomplish unique measurements tasks for which they are not principally used
7.   Interact with other technicians, Customer Service Representatives, Account Managers, and customers
8.   Diagnose, troubleshoot, and determine if unit is serviceable or economical to repair. Complete repairs in-house or by coordinating with an outside source.
9.   Completes administrative functions such as preparing calibration reports/certificates, maintenance of logs/records, required documentation, updates to calibration and/or operation manuals, and basic lab inventory.
10.   Ensures that calibration stickers on equipment for the purpose of identifying calibration status are correct and current.
11.   Develop calibration procedures and methods, if needed
12.   Offer insight to our Quality System and assist in documentation for continuous improvement
13.   Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
