Science and Management Resources, Inc. (SMR) is now excepting resumes for the following future potential position in Kuwait.

SENIOR ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN, FACILITIES MAINTENANCE
 
FUNCTION:

Supports Facility/Environmental Engineering in developing plans and programs to ensure all facilities within the Metrology Branch are supplied with appropriate structures and environmental controls necessary to perform required calibrations and repairs. Provide support to Facilities Maintenance Specialists in the performance of their daily tasks. Also develop maintenance actions for assignment to the Facilities Maintenance Specialists.

Provide support in maintaining and operating the Metrology Branch's environmental, power and utility control and distribution systems.  Including:
   (a) Support the installation, maintenance and operation of new or modified facility systems.

   (b) Modify and repair Metrology Branch building structural elements and systems

   (c) Support the installation, repair and modification of major calibration systems and related support systems.

   (d) Make recommendations to the Facilities Maintenance concerning new or improved metrology facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

A.  Completed a four (4) year degree in mechanical engineering, engineering technology or a related technical field, from an accredited college or university OR

B.  Five (5) years experience in maintaining an environmentally controlled facility,  including developing facility plans related to environmental control in metrology and calibration laboratories,.  Electrical power production, or environmental systems experience/training may be used in lieu of metrology disciplinary skills.
