Anyone had any exposure to the Spirent TAS 4500 or TAS 4600 Channel Emulators?  I'm trying to figure out if we can calibrate them, and can't find good documentation.

I found an operators manual, but no info regarding cal.

Good luck. I just sent one to the OEM for calibration. I don't think you will be able to cal it.

I did find the performance verification for the TAS 4500.  One of the used test equipment dealers had a PDF available.  It was pretty straightforward, and required only a spectrum analyzer and RF signal generator.

I had search engine hits for the TAS 4600A verification procedure from a website in Korea, but it was a dead link.  The TAS 4500 procedure is TAS Application Note #40 "TAS 4500 FLEX Verification Procedure" dated 1/12/2007.  The one for the TAS 4600A appears to be TAS Application Note #49, but not to be found on the web.

I'll keep trying.  I'm going to email the OEM today about that one.

I also found a number of the docs for both models (operators, config, etc.).
