Pardon my ignorance but K5 is usually paired up with K6. :?

Physical/Dimensional. Temperature being considered to go along with it.

I doubt many people with 4 years experience are going to have the experience you list for electronics with Platinum Resistance Thermometers and all the other equipment.

I suggest moving the K5 to the other technician slots.

The only temperature related things I would think your average K1/K8 tech would be touching is thermocouple related meters being tested on the 5520A or other equipment.

2nd - Tinker being a IIA and a depot type lab is probably fairly large and I would think the K1/K8 and K3/K4 would probably be seperated too.
"My wings have healed." - Probably a parrot said this.

Question,  is Tinker working on DOL wage determination or have they gone union?  Bsically what is the salary?

Tinker is under a CBA (union).  The wages for the Sr.  PMEL Technician is $26. 20 with a 4% increase in Oct.  09.  The health and welfare is $237. 00 per pay period (every 2 weeks).  The company also pays for the long and short term disability, life insurance (1 X salary).  There is vacation and sick/personal time (40 hours).  Medical, dental, and vision is available.

is there only two tech levels?  when i was at Hill, there were 3.  P.S. to all, i loved working at a type 2A.

Donaldr1955

There are three levels, PMEL Tech, Sr.  PMEL Tech, and Lead Tech.  We are looking for Sr.  PMEL Tech (Tech II).  This is a good area to work with variety of equipment to work on.    We are looking for 4 people because the Civil Service on base just hired and lost technicians to them.
