Calibration Technician


Description and Duties of Job:

This position is responsible for the repair and calibration of customer owned electrical/electronic or physical/dimensional equipment.  This equipment includes, but is not limited to, multimeters, signal generators, temperature devices, pressure devices, oscilloscopes, micrometers, calipers, rings, and dial indicators.  The technician is required to follow AppMet procedures in the performance of his/her job.  The technician is responsible for generating and accounting for all data and records applicable to the work performed, assuring that all standards used in the calibration of customer instruments are in currently calibrated status.  These duties and responsibilities will include other duties as assigned by management and are not limited to those outline above. 
Specific Skill Requirements and Essential Job Functions:

Military training in a field such as Air Force PMEL, is desired, but not required.
