General Discussion / Calibration Fixtures for HP 43...
Last post by LS_Larry - 06-12-2023 -- 12:19:29
We don't have the calibration fixtures called for in the manual.
1. RC Box 16340A
2. RC Box Adapter PN 04339-65005
3. V Measurement Adapter PN 04339-65006
AND they are not available anymore.

Does anyone have a manual with schematics or drawings that describe these units?

General Discussion / Low pressure standards

What would someone recommend as a backup to Fluke 7250LP (0 to ±10, 0 to ±30 in-H2O). Since Fluke is taking 8 to 12 months to repair/calibrate pressure standards, we need backups. In the old days we had a Dwyer 1430 Microtector for 0 to 2"H2O ±0.00025 in-H2O and a Dwyer 1425-24 Hook gauge for 0 to 24 in-H2O ±0.001 in-H2O.
We have most of the parts for our Hook gauge but are running into an issue with the port at the bottom of the wells. I think the thread pitch is different than 1/4" NPT.

I just watched a video where the speaker said upgrading your automated calibration procedures to support a new calibrator was easy!   Well, 20 min per procedure added up to hundreds of hours! And that equates to tens of thousands of dollars!
There is a better way!

Why have there been no new posts in almost 3 months? Did the new format piss everyone off?
