Title: 5-80 pF normalizer
Post by: dminesinger on 03-04-2008 -- 00:38:25
Need to find Tek part number for an obsolete part.

5-80 pF normalizer for older obsolete Tek scopes.

And anyone know where to get one.

The part numbers are 067-05XX-00 (XX signifies what pf you want)..

I've got a bunch sitting in my kit, but unfortunately, they belong to the USAF and I have to keep them  :-D

Unfortunately, they are all obsolete due to digital technology

You might try google searching the part numbers and hope to get lucky

There used to be a guy named Dean Kidde who bought old Tektronix parts and resold them.  Not sure if he is still around.  You might try a web search to find him.

I just found a website with Deane Kidd's email address listed (note I changed spelling).  Don't know if he would have it or not, but might be worth a try.  Also, the website where I found that email address may have it, or know how to help you find it.

It's been a couple of years since I dealt with Deane.  He was still doing business then but he isn't young so I don't know if he still is.  Consider you are calling west coast on his home phone when you call him.  You will get an earfull if you call at 6AM Western.

Two other Tek resources -

It's really going to help if you can get that full part number though.
