Title: HP Vee Programs
Post by: SpectrumMaster on 12-12-2007 -- 12:04:03
Does anyone know of a place or a person that I can get HP Vee programs from either free or at a reasonable cost?

I don't know anyone who still uses HP Vee as cal software. Last time I have seen that in a lab was 7 years ago. Good luck on finding some.

There was one company (VeeCal) out there for about 2 years selling HP Vee Calibration Procedures .   I think it was a couple of technicians who worked in a calibration lab doing a little side line work.   Then they just disappeared.

What procedures are you looking for?  In the past we have talked about doing some work in Vee.   We do have people who know Vee, but no customers have asked specifically for procedures in Vee.

Depending on exactly what you are looking for, I might be able to get my hands on it.  If I'm not mistaken, we (Army) are still using HP Vee or a version/ variant of it.

A side note, I found a copy of Runtime HP Vee v6.1 on Agilent's FTP site (ftp://hpls01[dot]lks[dot]agilent[dot]com/pub/)  I downloaded it, but found I needed some other program with it.

Anyone have a quick synopsis of what it's good for, etc. (a general low-down on HP Vee)?
