Seeking qualified, motivated metrology professionals for Metrology Engineer opportunity in Cleveland, Ohio. Opportunity to work for a diversified technology and manufacturing leader of aerospace products and services!!!!.
Individual will perform various assignments of an advanced nature utilizing engineering methods and a solid understanding of advanced principles/concepts. Responsible for resolving complex technical issues and provide technical guidance. Must be able to multi-task and interact with customer as needed. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
*Procedure writing, approval, and validation.
*Checking standards for all Metrology Reference Standards
*Collecting, recording electronically and analyzing all the historical data for all Metrology Reference Standards
*Calculating the Measurement Uncertainty Analysis (MUA), Test Uncertainty Ratio (TUR) and guardbanding
*Implementing Measurement Uncertainty Analysis (MUA) in our checklists, implement the Intermediary (not determine) zone.
*Investigating / recording the Quality Assurance (QA) failure & write the corrective action
*Performing all calculations needed
*Calibration interval analysis for Metrology Reference Standards and Customer Equipment
*Assisting in Risk analysis for Metrology Reference Standards and Customer Equipment
*Assisting in running Quality Assurance Department
Qualifications:
Minimum of a BS degree in engineering or applied science with at least 1 year of related experience (Level 2) or 3 years related experience (Level 3). In lieu of education, 9 years or 11 years of related experience, respectively.
