Today, Measurement Assurance Technology is not only a superior supplier of Calibration and Repair services, from DC to Light-wave, but supplies re-conditioned Test and Measurement Equipment to over 45 countries, around the World. Our focus is RF and Light-wave equipment. But, General Purpose Test and Measurement has always been within our capabilities and inventory for servicing and selling.
Measurement Assurance Technology's core customer base ranges from Communications, Manufacturers, Telephony, Fiber Optic, Aviation, Medical and the list goes on.
We currently have an immediate opportunity for a General Purpose Calibration Technician at our Carrollton (Dallas), TX facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical-The Technician will primarily Calibrate Test & Measurement Diagnostic Equipment. Some local on-site Calibration jobs may occur. Travel is minimal. This includes equipment used in the RF/Telecommunications, and Semiconductor/Electronic Components markets, as well as general purpose test and measurement equipment. Some Mechanical and Dimensional equipment applies as well.
Responsibility- Accountability and Decision Making-Normally receives no instruction on routine work; general instructions on new assignments; applies job skills and company policies and procedures to complete a wide range of difficult tasks; works on assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations.
Communication and Interaction - Trains others in basic calibrations; regularly interacts with other technicians, Customer Service and Purchasing; interacts often with customers; interaction normally involves exchange or presentation of factual information, often as the specialist in a particular technical area.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE
-TMDE/PMEL certified or Associates degree in Electrical Technologies
-Minimum of 5 years Calibration experience
-Knowledge of electronic circuit theory
-Basic Troubleshooting Skills
-Must be able to life up to 65 pounds without assistance; occasional standing and bending required.
COMPENSATION
Measurement Assurance Technology provides employees with a complete salary/benefit package starting the 1st day upon 90 days after hire, including Medical Insurance compensation, Vacation, Personal Days Off, Twelve (12) paid Holidays annually, Annual Bonuses, 401(k) w/100% matching up to 5% of salary.
