Description:
Analyzes program performance and effectiveness and devises new approaches to reduce program costs and to improve activities as needed. Performs business case analysis; on alternative strategies for effective implementation of program elements and initiatives. Provides strategic program planning and policy development. Assesses fleet priorities; program plans and optimizes allocation of program resources. Develops briefs; outlining program objectives, goals, and accomplishments for OPNAV, Commander Naval Air Forces (CNAF) and AIR 6. 0 Logistics and Industrial Operations leadership. Manages on-site contract personnel.
Must Have 12+ years experience.
- Leading large diverse logistics and or engineering support teams
- Accountable for effective allocation of limited resources to achieve program objectives
- Communicating with DON military and civilian senior leadership on challenges, strategies, issues, and accomplishments
- Military leadership experience desired
The successful applicant must have knowledge and skills related to:
- Program analysis including performance assessments[\li]
- Program Planning and Management[\li]
- Risk Management[\li]
- Excellent written communication (memorandum, point papers, management plans, management reports)[\li]
- Mastery of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project[\li]

Bachelors in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics / Masters Preferred
Must be eligible for Secret Clearance
