Mechanical Calibration Technicians
Due to continued growth, Technical Maintenance Inc. is recruiting for multiple Calibration Technicians throughout the United States with an immediate need in the Niles, IL areas. These positions require demonstrated knowledge of several key areas of metrology including physical/dimensional, torque, pressure, temperature, tension, and others. You will have experience calibrating and troubleshooting the following types of test and measurement equipment as a minimum requirement: temperature devices, pressure devices, torque wrenches/drivers, plugs, rings, handheld mechanical devices, threads and other mechanical type gauges. You will also have the aptitude to develop and maintain calibration procedures as needed. The ability to work unsupervised and unsurpassed dependability is required.
NOTE: Relocation is available for exceptional candidates.
Job Requirements :
*PMEL or other calibration training with a minimum of 3 years experience
*Outstanding customer skills and attention to detail
*Experience with quality systems such as ISO 17025
*Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
*Ability to be a leader and work unsupervised
*Positive, eager to learn attitude
*US Citizen Valid driver's license
*Ability to lift 50 lbs. and climb stairs
*Ability to work in an industrial environment while maintaining safety at all times
