Title: White Papers on SPRT Stem Correction Error
Post by: Hawaii596 on 08-19-2019 -- 08:19:16
Anyone know of good white papers on SPRT stem correction error?  I need good details on tests/evaluation  and including them in uncertainty budgets.

From basic to most useful.

I really like the discussion in the last pub on page 22 for Table 9, the vertical temperature differences over the length of the re-entrant well of the fixed-point cells. You can try this with a TPW cell but since the ambient to TPW difference is relatively small it may be difficult to see.
Hope some of this helps, good luck.

Thank you. Got them all.  I already have Self-Heating pretty mastered and have a built in calculator added to some of my budget spreadsheets, and getting a lot of the math nailed down in developing uncertainty contributions for Stem/Immersion Error.

Hey, when you have it down are you willing to share your work ( spreadsheets )? I am just starting to work on this myself.

Thanks for posting those links.  I hadn't read through the NIST SPRT publication before.  Lots of good information.
