Special thanks to Chris Grachanen from HP for contacting me (as well as for creating them) and letting me know about these handy tools!
He also provided a link to the CCT brochure. It can be found here (http://www.asq.org/pdf/certification/brochures/cct-brochure-2006.pdf).
On a side note: I found this (http://www.agilent.com/metrology/news20060630.shtml) to be an interesting read. It is along the lines of the discussion that we had some time ago on the differences between a calibration technician and a metrologist.
SWEET! :-D
Thanks Hoopty.
Added the July '06 newsletter too.
Can be found here (http://www.pmelforum.com/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=item275).

Now if only someone would do a salary survey to go along with the Dept. of Labor definitions of a calibration technician/engineer/metrologist. Where I'm at, technician wages are based on what they'd make as instrument and control (I&C) techs at local refineries. Actually, it must be lower than that, because when they go and do on-site calibrations, and catch wind of what they
could be making, the turnstile starts spinning... :|
Well, I am glad to know that I am a metrologist. :-D
Added the Oct '06 AFMETCAL Newsletter to the downloads section.
It can be found here ---> Oct 2006 Newsletter (http://www.pmelforum.com/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=item274)
Sorry for the delay, but the January '07 AFMETCAL Newsletter (http://www.pmelforum.com/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=item277) is now available in the downloads section.
Thanks Hoopty! As a former bluesuiter, nice to see what's going on with folks still serving. Lots of the people i served with are heavy with rank or retiring, so makes me feel old!
April newsletter is available in the download (http://www.pmelforum.com/index.php?action=tpmod;dl) section. It just came out...
I'd like to mention it is probably or will be on the AF potal. You know that place you have to do that IT stuff at once a year.
Yes, it is now available via AF Portal, but alot of our non-bluesuiters like to keep up with whats going on in the AF PMEL world... so I also make it available here.
Hot off the presses! The July newsletter is now available in the download (http://www.pmelforum.com/index.php?action=tpmod;dl) section.
Same thing with the Handbook.
They should be good to go now. They were working... dunno what caused them to up and break. Oh well. Thanks for reporting them to me!
October Newsletter is now up!
