Hello metrology community,
i have an issue with my balance.
The problem encountred with this balance(PN:XS32001L) concerns the smartTrac which is blocked at the first half middle range.thus, the display didn't show the entire weighing range.in other words, the balance is referenced on its half range (17 kg instead of 0 kg)

One of the internal cal weights are hung. Probably either the motor has failed or the position sensor has failed. You might try (shudder) to pick it up an inch or so and drop it. That sometimes will dislodge the weight and get it back in the home position.

The drop test is a tried and true calibration method. It has served me well to help reseat cards and make sure I can red tag the heck out of equipment! :evil:
