Title: Happy Valley
Post by: docbyers on 06-26-2006 -- 11:20:23
My source at WRAFB tells me it's been around 99 degrees F there lately, with a heat index into the 100's...

80 and sunny here in Cincinnati today, so I'm happy to be here instead of there!

Chuck did mention to me that he was very thankful that his career choice revolved around a controlled, air conditioned environment!  Of course, he's from the Buffalo, NY area, where they have two seasons- black flies, and snow flies!  So living in Georgia is quite an adjustment for him...

"Sultry."  Yeah, that's a nice way to put it...

I drove thru Georgia one summer years ago and thought 'fu#k it's hot'.  I thought it was just me, but obviously not.

I grew up in Georgia. When I moved to Florida I thought I was going to hate the summers. I was wrong. The summers are much better here.
