My company has two labs in California and the starting salary for a tech with only 4-6 years in the field is about $60K a year in Cali. We also have openings in California if you are interested please let me know. :-D
60K in Cali.......well you can kiss my left hind cheek.
Evidamndently you never lived there
60k... in cali...that'll get you a nice card board box to live in....just no where to put the box
With PMEL school and 8+ years in the field your looking at close to $80k-90K.
Lets see, in california, you dont have to pay federal taxes right? Since it is not really a state.
Ok maybe it is, but not one I would want to return to.
California sux! I think it's a Socialist Republic or Communist State or it will be with one more Democrat as a governer and he isn't conservitive enough for me. Land of Fruits and Nuts.
Arnold's a nice enough guy, I guess, but he married into the wrong family. Those Kennedy's have drunks who can't drive in every generation!
Between the liberals in Hollywood, the flood of immigrants down south, traffic, air pollution, gas prices, etc., etc., I could care less if I ever see the place again...
$60k/year is fine for Cincinnati, and good for L.A. (Lower Alabama), but in California, you'll be sleeping in your car and showering at the local YMCA...
Yeah, but someone like you or I would get paid around $80- $90K. which isn't too bad for california
So, what kind of house can I buy in California after I sell my 5-bedroom ranch w/ in-ground pool and 1/2 acre of land for $200k here in Ohio?
You can get a shanty with 2 rooms and a outhouse.
I guess $40/hour goes farther some places than others, eh? I think I'll stay here in Ohio, and vacation in Orlando. I'll drop you a note next time I'm there, and we'll get together for drinks, war stories, and you can tell me all about Flynn...
That sounds like a plan. I thought of going to Ohio before is it nice? I actually thought of going after one of those AFPSL jobs. I just can't stand the 00-20-14. Hahaha :-D
Ohio land of my family.
BTW Mr Coup - that should help you understand the similarities between myself and Uncle Larry.
You have similarities with Larry?
"see you down in Arizona bay..."
