These are people I've watched do their jobs, and do them well. Without exception, I learned something valuable and useful from every single one of these people. Without exception, these people were all modest and true, and were happy to teach you what they knew along the way.

That's Old school....YIKES :-o!
I love the fact that snack bar made it as a section on your list. Maybe you can put me in contact with your "God" of the snack bar and maybe he can talk to my scum of a snack bar monitor.
Man, I haven't seen or heard of Jerry Long since I left Wyoming in '84. The thing about the snack bar there was a) we always had great snacks and good beverages, b) the bar always made money, c) nobody borrowed money or stole food from the bar, d) surplus money went into afternoon barbeques at the lab, or doughnuts in the morning, something extra nice...
I think I failed to mention that the "scum" I was referring to is me...
I would have to nominate Bill Callis as the best engineer ever at AGMC. A wealth of knowledge and an absolutely stellar person.
I think I am the GOD of Metrology. Not because I am so great, but because I am so old. Since they tell me I am older than dirt, then I figure everything belongs to me. I have not figured out how to charge everyone though.
