Title: Anyone have any experience with a Ruska 7615?
Post by: USMCPMEL on 04-10-2017 -- 10:58:45
It does not seem to want to control very well? I am trying to go through now and do the tune procedure (which is taking forever). Is there anything else I can do to get it to lock in better?

I had some problems like that with another Ruska calibrator. For me it was really on the low end of the range. Almost TOO low. It was all over the place. I had to make sure all lines were tight and not loose. I also shortened the lines. The Ruska's seem to have a problem responding fast. Could there be an internal leak?

Not that I have found. This is the high pressure one that goes to 40,000 PSI. It uses oil so if it was leaking I would see oil internally especially the way it is jumping around. It is eating up my air source of the drive pressure so I am trying to isolate the leak on that side.

Ok I have found a couple air leaks and fixed them. I see no oil leaks. I have gone through and did the tune procedure and it still is not working correctly.

I ordered a regulator waiting for that to come in so that I can replace it then continue troubleshooting this beast.
