Title: Fluke 50-Turn Coil Non-Toroidal Spec
Post by: Hawaii596 on 09-08-2016 -- 10:22:07
Just wondering if anyone else has dug into the Fluke 5500A/COIL and it's specs in the following regard:

It has a TOROIDAL and a NON-TOROIDAL accuracy spec.  From what I've gleaned, the majority of Clamp-on Ammeters are TOROIDAL.  Does anyone know of or have examples of NON-TOROIDAL UUT's that the coil would be used to calibrate?

Perfect.  That is exactly what I was looking for.  Was this written by Fluke, or do you know.  I have downloaded and added it to my 5500A/COIL info folder (for accredited calibrations).  Thank you.
