Title: Calibration Technicians Needed for Techmaster Electronics

Techmaster Electronics, LLC is in search of experienced Electronics Calibration Technician for a full-time position at our Fremont, CA (Bay Area) and Orlando, FL laboratories.

PRIMARY FUNCTION
This job function is primarily responsible to calibrate, repair and certify all electronic test and measuring equipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES– All responsibilities must be conducted in compliance with all technical requirements of ISO/IEC 17025.
•   Calibrate electronic equipment per Manufacturer, GIDEP, Sure Cal or Met Cal procedures
•   Troubleshoot  and disassemble, where necessary, for test equipment repairs
•   Clean, repair and reassemble to the original manufacturer specifications
•   Determine whether equipment being calibrated is in-tolerance or out-of-tolerance
•   Complete all required documentation thoroughly, legibly and in a timely manner
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
•   4 years in calibration/repair/troubleshooting preferred
•   PMEL preferred
•   Formal training in Calibration/Metrology preferred
SKILL/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
•   Microsoft Office – Excel, Word
•   Experience with Sure Cal/Met Cal preferred – Programming a bonus
•   Basic understanding of metrology, read electronic schematics, analyze and interpret data
•   Ability to follow procedures and verbal instructions
•   Basic math skills, problem solving, communicate effectively, both verbally and written
•   Professional attitude
•   Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
•   Valid driver's license and good driving record
•   Familiarity with the concept of measurement uncertainty
•   Work independently
WORK ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS
•   Some travel to customer locations (some overnight travel may be required)
•   Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
