I'm getting extremely frustrated at the amount of errors I'm forced to fix from procedures I download straight from the Fluke Calibration website. I'm certain they hired programmers straight out of college with limited electronics knowledge. And it's clear they don't test run the majority of these procedures on the equipment after it's written. But they sure took the time to cover their @$$'s stating in the header of each procedure "Fluke cannont be held responsible for the consequences of error or omissions found within this procedure." What kind of crap is that!?!?
It's the way things are starting to get done on an a more frequent scale.
The automated HP/Agilent/Keysight procedure for doing the N191X series of power meters uses a magic E4419 that they infer is calibrated at NIST, making a 0.6% E4419 0.1, tada!
Fluke cal procedures suck and always have. I can't begin to count the hours spent getting a Fluke Gold program to work, but that is what we're stuck with!
You should check out the Cal Lab Solutions alternative!
We have a larger database of procedures as well a supporting complex calibrations like Fluke 8508's, 5720, Tektronix MDO's and R&S CMW500.
If our customers have an issue we are there to support them. We can even remote into your computer and fix the problem on the spot.
All in all "IT IS MONEY BETTER SPENT!"
