Title: Cal Factors on E9304A Type Power Sensors
Post by: mlangfield on 01-14-2016 -- 11:37:58
Does anyone know if there is a way to read the calibration factors off the HP/Agilent/Keysight  EPROM type Sensors?

Cal Lab Solutions (my company) has I think the only available solution that FULLY calibrates the E9304A.

You need to do calibration factors below 100kHz.  NIST traceable RF Power starts a 100kHz, so 9 kHz Calibration factors have to be tested another way.. We use several methods but the Fluke  5790A seems to work the best.

Also on E930xA Sensors you have to calibrate (and Adjust) the linearity.. I have heard some other products have added this test.. but PS-CAL our product has been testing and adjusting Linearity for over 10 years now..

You can try the trial version of TME (if they still do that at Keysight)

If you're just looking to read the factors, there's probably a simpler method, but I wasn't able to using only our E4419 power meter
