Title: R&S FHS8 Spectrum Analyzer Calibration
Post by: Kyoungmin Kim on 01-04-2016 -- 00:18:14
Hi,
I have a question about FSH8 Spectrum Ananlyzer Input Attenuator Calibration.
According to TO33K3-4-3702-1, It has +/-0.3dB Accuracy.
Between TO and Service Manual have different Method.
TO uses 9610A/9640A reference source, Manual uses Power Meter and Sensor.
Also they have different setting(SPAN, RBW, VBW, etc. TO is more delicate setting).
Actually I don`t have any problem with TO, but some technician have problem.
Does anybody have experience out of tolerance at INPUT Attenuator Calibration?

Either way, 9640A is easier setup and adequate for the test.  R&S would be happier if you used equipment made by them.
