Post by: Kyoungmin Kim on 12-21-2015 -- 00:03:14
Anybody knows subtituted item for 11812A??

As I know that Item is discontinued. But KTO still want to use it.

If I can`t find it anywhere, what should I do?

It is an HP 355D with Type N connectors, with a matched cable, and I believe a stick attenuator.

But the most important feature of this kit is having it calibrated by a very high accuracy attenuation calibration system the right way so that it can then transfer the higher accuracies to the Option 050 of the HP 8902A.  I own one of these kits, but not using it yet, as it has to go to a proper standards laboratory.

There is no substitute for the needed accuracy.  This is the main purpose of the kit: to provide the higher accuracy attenuation values.  If it is not properly calibrated, you will not be able to properly calibrate the Option 050.

You can still buy the kit online.  We don't have the AM/FM test source so we send our two 8902's to Keysight for calibration and it isn't that expensive.  I believe it's between 400-500 dollars.
