and the pay rate is???
I did my best to get the most accurate possible answer from our H.R. I was able to get the starting and the midrange rates, but I could not get the maximum possible wage for these positions. I was told, "The ideal candidate will have basic to intermediate skills in metrology at about $25-$28 per hour". However I know for a fact that a former employee right out the military after four years, was higher that that. Being the lead, what I personally look for during interviews is K-6(temp/dimensional/mechanical/pressure/mass) competency, people skills, focus, drive, potential for growth, and personality fit.
Let's see how Irvine compares to the national average. 70% higher cost of living and 211% higher housing index!!! I make more than that in Florida where our numbers are right at the national average. I'd rather not be on welfare personally!!
