Title: Fkuke Networks DTX-MFM2 (multi-mode) and DTXSFM2 (single-mode) modules.

Does anyone have a calibration procedure on these modules?  They plug into a DTX-1800 Cable Analyzer and SmartRemote.  'Have to write a procedure in Fluke MET/CAL.... but it's getting them setup that is problematic.  That is.... getting them to source light without having them in a loop configuration.

Boatkook..
Let me give you the short version, because I have research these.
If they were easy to do in MET/CAL Fluke would have added them to the Gold Procedures list.  If they were hard, we would have a procedure for them.

Mike

If you crack the code send me your resume.

Doesn't Fluke's LinkWare have command line capability? Access it via the Call command of MetCal.

Sorry for the confusion....I need to measure the TI source wavelength and power without breaking the loop.  'Now loading up the Linkware that was in the customers case and seeing if I can get the TI communicating.  It's a little confusing because it appears that the TI sources 850 and 1300nm during the same test.

Linkware (TI/USB port) for downloading test records to a computer and displaying them only.  TI/RS-232 (10101 port) for serial download of similar records via Putty or Hyper Terminal.  There is no control of this instrument other than manual.  Now about that source measurement......
