Micro Precision Calibration is an International Accredited Calibration Laboratory with 20 locations around the world. We are currently seeking a calibration technician for our busy Phoenix (Tempe, AZ) location. Applicants must possess the following skills and experience: excellent computer, communication and phone skills, must be very experienced with Microsoft Windows and Office products and internet based applications. Must be able to follow directions and work well as a team member or alone. Only applicants with at least 5 years of calibration experience will be considered.  Must be able to calibrate both electronic and physical/dimensional test equipment.  Full benefits package including 401(K) available after 6 months.  Submit resumes via email to rswink@microprecision.com

Great... I'm looking to relocate to the Phoenix area. Six months for the 401k thing? Hopefully, you have other benefits to offset? ;)

Ronic--all benefits start after six months (probationary period).  We are also looking for a technician near your current location if you'd like to stay in NorCal.

I know it depends on experience but what's the "average" hourly rate out there?

When I was working there in 2009 the average was around $25, but then the benefits started from day one...
