Title: Software for Pressure
Post by: darkness63 on 10-30-2012 -- 10:14:47
I am just curious as to what everyone else is using when calibrating various pressure items (i.e. analog gauges, digital gauges, xducers, etc). I have used various packages mostly from Fluke/DHI including Compass for pressure and the old compass for PPC's and I am wondering if anyone uses METCAL as data collection software for pressure items. I am looking into this option because it can handle the guard banding issues for Z540.3. Any thoughts?

I use Compass, you can write your reports to populate an excel worksheet and create your guardbanding formulas within that worksheet, have the worksheet embedded in the word document datasheet...works fairly well.  It takes some time to setup the first one then its all down hill from there.
