Looking for the T.O. directions on the use of PTFE aka, Teflon Tape / Antisieze Tape. Any inof that can be cited with credibility will be greatly appreciated. All other info will be hear say ... and you know how PMEL can be.
in the Metrology handbook tells you how to use it when performing pressure calibrations, does that help?
Spanishfly25, can you provide the link to the metrology hand book? I wasn't able to find anything on "tape", "teflon", or "PTFE" using the search function. Is it the Metrology Handbook on the front page of the PMEL Forum, left upper corner?
With alittle bit of elbow grease, T.O. 00-25-223, Integrated Pressure Systems and Components.
Page 1-63 = NOTE 2ea
Page 1-119 = 1-539, 1-540
Page 3-5 = 3-36 & NOTE
oops I got confuse, not in metrology hanbook but the K6 handbook (the one they give you when you take advance phys D) and I only have a hard copy, I can'd find the link for it on line.
Ship it to me and I'll get it scanned and posted and return it to you. Or would help with the cost of getting it scanned.
PM me.
