Title: ADC-2500 solenoid adjustment
Post by: tcspase on 03-21-2012 -- 18:21:25
I am having some trouble with my ADC-2500. (replacement for 3682) During calibration of rate of climb indicators it has trouble stabalizing. The slew rate is right on the money, but when the ADC-2500 settles on a final reading and stabalizes, the needle on the rate of climb indicator jumps all over the place. All fittings and hoses have been checked/swapped out, but we have not noticed a change.  We had this problem before, and one of my technicians was able to re-characterize the solenoids so they dont buffer erratically and give a smooth flow. I have been unable to locate this information online. If anyone has any information it would help a lot.

Contact Testvonics. We have had a few issues with ours and they bent over backwards to help. They know the ADC inside and out and are proud of their product. Out of my 20+ years in PMEL, they have the best customer support of any manufacturer I previously dealt with.
