Once Tektronix got bought up by Danaher Corp, it went downhill and continues to do so. It's filled with management politics. They're the sort to fire and hire all day long until the problem fixes itself. Tread softly if you apply for a job there.
Not to be rude but you sound like a disgruntled former employee?

Look at the reviews on glassdoor.com, they all say the same thing. Also, I know one person who quit Tektronix Service Solutions who marches to the same beat. For the record, I have never worked at Tektronix. I merely present a word of caution to my fellow technicians and former service members.

It might be more useful if actual employees or former employees posted an opinion. I have a good friend who works for them on the east coast and he hasn't complained about Tektronix at all to me. But again, I don't work there either.
I personally know of someone that voluntarily resigned from Tektronix Service Solutions and took a significant pay cut just to get away from their crap.
And as a former customer, I did NOT like some of the answers I received from their corporate quality department concerning an issue I had with a calibration they performed.
I *do* work for them and Pez has it partially correct....I won't go into details, but suffice it to say that I wouldn't plan on it being a "career" position.
